    Articles are words that come before nouns to give them context. The articles "a," "an," and "the" are classified as definite and indefinite. They serve as a tool to help identify and specify nouns in phrases and are essential in determining the meaning of a phrase or sentence.

    Types of Articles

    There are two kinds of articles: Definite and Indefinite

    Definite Article

    Definite article is used before nouns to specify or identify a particular person, place, thing or idea. There is only one definite article that is "the."

    Indefinite Articles

    Indefinite articles are used before nouns to show that the noun is not a specific person, place or thing. There we have two indefinite articles which are "a" and "an".
