Once upon a time, in the sunny town of Sunnyville, there was a beautiful park where kids of all ages loved to play. This park was extra special because the kids in Sunnyville took care of it to make sure it was clean, safe, and filled with laughter every day.

One bright morning, a group of friends- Tim, Emma, and Alex- decided to visit their favourite place, Sunnyville Park. They were excited to have a day full of fun and adventure. As they entered the park, they noticed some scattered trash near the entrance.

"Hey, look at that!" exclaimed Tim, pointing at the bits of paper and wrappers. "Our park should be clean and tidy. What do you think we should do guys?"

Kids, what would you do if you saw scattered trash in a park?

The three friends decided to become superheroes for the day-" The Clean Team". They found a big, colourful bag and started picking up the trash, making sure the park sparkled like a gem. As they cleaned, they chatted and laughed, making the task fun. Emma asked, "Why is it important to keep the park clean?"

Kids, can you tell why it's important to keep a park clean?

Alex thought for a moment and said, "Well a clean park is a happy park! It's more fun to play when there's no trash around. And animals like clean places too!" "Exactly!" Tim agreed. "We want the park to be a nice place for everyone, don't we?" With their mission accomplished, the Clean Team put the filled bag near the park's entrance, ready to be picked up by the park staff.

Now that the park was clean, the friends were eager to play some outdoor games. They brought out their favourite games- a frisbee, a jump rope, and a football.

The friends started with a game of frisbee. They took turns throwing and catching the colourful disc, giggling as they tried to make the perfect throw. Then, they moved on to the jumping rope, counting how many jumps they could do without stripping. Finally, they set up a mini-football match, kicking the ball between makeshift goalposts. With each goal, they cheered and high-fived, enjoying the friendly competition.

After their games, the friends sat down on a bench to catch their breath. Emma looked around and said, "You know what would make our park even better? More trees!"

Kids, do you know why it's good to have more trees in the park?

Alex thought for a moment and said, "Trees are cool! They give us shade, and they make the park look pretty. Plus, they're homes for birds and insects!" Tim nodded, "Absolutely! Let's plant some trees and make our park even more awesome!"

Excited about the idea, the friends went to the park's caretaker, Mr. Brown, and shared their plans. He loved the idea and gave them some small saplings and gardening tools. The friends gathered near a vacant area in the park and started planting the saplings. As they dug holes and carefully placed the tiny trees in the soil, they chatted about why trees are essential for the environment.

Kids, do you know why trees are important to us?

Emma explained, "Trees give us oxygen to breathe, and they take in carbon dioxide. It's like they're giving the Earth a big, green hug!" "That's right," added Alex. "They also provide homes for animals, and their leaves give us shade on hot days." With their new trees planted, the friends felt a sense of accomplishment. They knew they were making Sunnyville Park an even better place for everyone.

As the sun began to set, the friends gathered near the newly planted trees. The park looked cleaner, had more trees, and was filled with the laughter of kids playing. They felt proud of what they had achieved in just one day.

As they walked home, the friends knew that taking care of their park was not just a one-time thing- it was something they could do every day to make a difference. And so, in Sunnyville, the kids continued to be guardians of their park, ensuring that it stayed clean, safe, and full of joy for everyone to enjoy.
