2. If each cup can hold 2 pints of tea, then what is the total capacity of the cups in quarts given below?

Explanation: Capacity of a cup of tea = 2 pints

3. If a coke bottle contains 200 mL, then what is the total capacity of coke?

Explanation: Capacity of a coke bottle = 200 mL

4. A car can travel a distance of 10 km with 500 ml of petrol. How much petrol will the car need to cover 100 km?

Answer: a) 5 litres

Explanation: petrol needed by car to cover 10 km = 500 mL
petrol needed by car to cover 1 km = 500 ÷ 10 = 50 mL

= 5000 ÷ 1000
= 5 litres

5. A jar contains 2800 mL of milk. If 625 mL is poured out into the glass, how many litres and millilitres of milk is left in the jar?
