The CREST Mathematics Olympiad (CMO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in Grades KG-10. There will be 2 levels for students of all Grades i.e. KG-10. The exam is an objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes. For students of Classes KG and 1, the exam will be parent/teacher assisted. The time of the exam will be 45 minutes for KG students.
The exam consists of two sections:
1. Section-1: Practical Mathematics
2. Section-2: Achievers Section

a. There are separate question papers for each and every class.
b. The medium of the exam is English.
c. Syllabus of various international boards is followed for the setting of test papers.
d. The online exams are conducted on web-enabled devices like laptop, tablet or desktop with webcam. Mobile devices are not allowed.
e. For students of Classes KG and 1, the parent/teacher can assist the child in guiding through the questions.
f. In case the registration is not through school, the student will have to take exam from home.

The basic requirements for participating in level 1 are listed below:
a. The participating candidate's school must be affiliated with any Indian-recognized education board like CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Board, etc. Also, students residing outside of India can also participate.
b. Candidates studying in Grades KG - 10 are eligible to participate in the level 1 examination.
The international Maths Olympiad eligibility criteria for level 2 are totally based on the marks obtained in the level 1 examination. Students who qualify the minimum marking criteria for level 1 can participate in level 2.

Registration of Students through schools: Students from Classes KG - 10 are eligible to take CREST Olympiads. Prospectus containing the registration forms are sent to all schools registered with CREST Olympiads. If your school is not registered with us, then please send an email to info@crestolympiads.com and we will send you the prospectus soon. It is mandatory for schools to return the registration forms to CREST Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.

CREST Mathematics Olympiad is a super unique way of acquiring logical and Mathematical skills. CREST Mathematics Olympiad syllabus is broken down into two major sections & the level of questions varies from class to class. Mathematics Olympiad syllabus is available for grades KG-10. It is recommended that students go through the syllabus in detail before start preparing for the exam.
Since the exam paper is divided into two sections, each section has different marking criteria. The exam paper consists of different topics and each topic has a different marking scheme. The exam fee is INR 225 for students studying and enrolling from India. For students studying and residing outside of India, the fee is country specific.

CREST Mathematics Olympiad answer key dates for all the classes can be checked on the website. Generally, answer keys are released within 1 week time after the last exam date. Students can check Maths Olympiad answer keys dates by visiting the exam schedule page on the website. With the help of these answer keys, students can predict their scores beforehand.
After the CREST Mathematics Olympiad examination is held, the results for the same are generally released within a month time after the last answer key date. The results can be checked on the official website of CREST Olympiads by logging in with your registered credentials. CMO level 1 results are declared in the month of February and the level 2 results in March. Students can check their performance online from the comfort of their homes.
There are awards for the top 50% of the students. CREST Olympiads recognize students with Merit Certificates, Trophies, Medals, 'Honorable mention' Digital Certificates, etc. for their achievements in the examination. 9. Is the Level 2 Maths Olympiad syllabus the same as that of level 1?
Maths Olympiad level 2 is conducted for grades KG-10. The syllabus for level 2 is the same as that of level 1. The questions asked in level 2 exam are of slightly higher difficulty level as compared to level 1.
