There are many Olympiad exams that are organized by various organizations for students of grades 1-12. You can find all the details of all these exams below:

Note: Olympiad exam registration generally takes place through school. But few exams accept individual registrations.

 

  • Singapore & Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO)

SASMO is open to all Primary 2 to 6 and Secondary 1 to 4 students (Grade 2 to 10 students from International schools). Each level has a differentiated paper and contains 25 questions within 2 sections.

SASMO contests aim to stretch the untapped thinking potential of the student population, their participation in SASMO will help them improve in school mathematics as well as higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).

  • Singapore Astronomy Olympiad 

The Singapore Astronomy Olympiad (SAO) is modeled after the international astronomy Olympiads and qualifies students to participate in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics.

The astronomy Olympiad provides activities for the enrichment and advancement of gifted and talented astronomy students.

  • Singapore Biology Olympiads

 SJBO involves an initial theory round, from which the highest-ranking schools are selected to participate in a practical round. SJBO is targeted at upper secondary students.

The aim of the SJBO is to foster critical thinking skills amongst the students as well as to offer an early taste of the SBO/IBO experience. SJBO is co-organized by SiBiol and the Singapore Science Centre, with support from the Ministry of Education.

This international contest allows students to experience the thrill of math games along with the challenge of solving puzzles. More than 13 countries attended along with 414 participants and over 350 parents and teachers.

SJBO provides a platform for upper secondary students to challenge themselves further in the area of biology and is an initiative built on their strong grasp on fundamentals.
