Olympiad Exams in Taiwan

i) Taiwanese Economics Olympiad (TEO)

The Taiwan Economic Olympiad (TEO) is the first national competition within the International Economic Olympiad (IEO) in Taiwan for High school students who are confident in Economics, Business and Finance.

The competition requires interdisciplinary knowledge and creative problem-solving skills to qualify for the IEO's yearly competition.

In light of the IEO, the TEO consists of three pillars: Economics, Finance and Business Cases and TEO is conducted in English only.

ii) Chinese Taipei Biology Olympiad Committee

The Chinese Taipei Biology Olympiad is open for High school students. This Olympiad competition is conducted in 4 rounds. Around 6000 students can participate in the first round, 200 in the second, 40 in the semifinals and about 8 students in the final exam.

Exam structure

1st round (theoretical): Multiple-choice questions
2nd round (theoretical): Single and multiple-choice questions
Semi-finals (First Selection camp): Multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions and practical exam
Final exam: Oral test, theoretical and practical portion.
